Bella Boo
A good puppy, is a tired puppy!!
A perfect puppy, is there such a thing?
Blake thinks so!! He LOVES that girl!!
Can you tell!?
Drew loves her too, as long as she doesn't touch his trains, cars, or Woody hat!
He loves to play tug-of-war with her!
I think Blake is just walking her...
The boys love to give her treats and give her commands, she actually listens to them! I'm convinced Blake could take care of her on his own, he seems to be a natural at when to tell her down, sit, no, etc and knows when she needs one of her toys instead of theirs. When she jumps on him or tries to get his food (they are at ther perfect height for her to snatch their food), he turns his back and will calmly tell her "Down, Bella!". She will let him play with her paws and loves to hear him talk to her, it is just too darn cute to watch a boy and his "doggie". Every morning he sees her and says, "Bella, my doggie, nice to see you" or "I missed you Bella"!
Drew is so happy to have a dog to rough house and play tug-of-war. He enjoys giving her commands and knows what to do when she jumps on him or tries to snatch his food, although he will let me know what she's doing, and wants some help! Who can blame him, she's almost as tall as them when she's on her hind legs! I tell them that someday (sooner than later) she will be bigger than them!!
Bella starting puppy school today, she met a boyfriend and got tons of attention. She had a blast socialized, then she took a nap while I heard the spiel about Piaget's conditional approach (I could've taken a nap too-lol), and then she showed off her good listening skills and did really well. She is off to a good start, hopefully she will be potty trained in the not so distant future. We have a "Pawty" chart we are suppose to keep, so hopefully it will help! The boys love to do the potty dance for her as we come in from outside!
It has been interesting potty training her and having the boys soooo close to being toliet trained during the day...they both got 100% today (Grandpa Bruce would be proud), Blake even stayed dry during a nap. The second day we got Bella I took her out, the boys were eating breakfast clothed and in underware. I was not out there for more than 2 minutes, when Blake poked his head out the door to tell me he had an accident. I told him I would be right there. I guess he couldn't wait, because he then took off his pants and his underware and threw his underware to me on the patio. All I could do was laugh...I guess he thought I wanted his wet drawers!
