We had a wonderful Christmas celebrating with family. We traveled to Shelbina one weekend. We had Christmas Eve at our house this year with Kyle's family. The boys enjoyed going to Grandpa Bruce and Mimi's house this year on Christmas morning and then to more family Christmas evening where Santa made his annual stop! The boys had fun with the train and race car track, which occupied them while Kyle and I played in the annual Christmas ping-pong tourney (I made it farther than Kyle this year- yea me!)!! Thanks to everyone and to Santa for our gifts! The boys got a lot of awesome new toys including a train!! They absolutely love the train table! They have assigned their own "sides"....they thought of this on their own-their way of compromising!
Christmas Eve
Blake playing with Mike's phone
The boys mesmerized by the book that was recorded by Maw Maw & Paw Paw
They now have it memorized!
Drew showing me Grandma's necklace with "rockets"
He loves rockets!
Drew showing me his teeth!
Looks like Blake giving Bella a command, however it is him sitting on a whoopie cushion
getting a great response from the crowd, so he's did this continuously (daddy's surprise gift)!
Drew with his cool remote control car!
Drew with Maw Maw eating a cookie
A family picture with all of looking (except Bella) and our eyes open!
Christmas morning!! The boys were so excited Santa came!!
A train table...a sure hit! Santa always knows!
Blake napping before the festivities of Christmas Eve, that boy loves to dress up like Buzz!
Buzz made an appearance at almost every holiday event, even New Years!
Blake and Gigi
Awww....Bella does so well with the boys...she is such a good puppy for them!!
Drew opening his remote control car from A.Jill & Mike
Mr. Cool Drew in his 3-D glasses "What up homie?"
Blake, love the background of our white Christmas!!
We did not get a picture of Santa this year, since the boys flat out refused to get out of their strollers to visit. We didn't think they would be willing to meet the scary man since they were saying "No, no Santa" as we got dressed and talked about our day, but we tried. We were going to go back to thank Santa for Bella, but we knew we would see Santa at the Laramie side Christmas evening. That encounter was much better, they had mixed feelings about him...first they both ran up to him and gave him high fives (we were floored), then they were crying and not sure when he called their name to get a present, then they decided thy like him again when they got a Cars watch. Wonder what will happen next year?! Either way, each year gets more fun and more exciting for the entire family! Bittersweet that the holidays have come and gone! Hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday season!!
