I was overly optimistic that the boys would love Santa as much as they did last year. Blake played with his beard after they sat for several pictures and a video! I was so optimistic, that I didn't even dress like I was going to be in a picture (as you can see Daddy did- lol!). Boy "o boy", was I wrong! While we waited, we watched and talked about Santa. The boys gave us no indication that they were scared or that they had no intention of sitting on or touching Santa! So, we had a family picture with Santa. Which, would normally be fine...except I had an accident with the car door Thanksgiving evening leaving me with 2 black eyes and a bump on my forehead for a week! That is why I am wearing my driving at night glasses and a hat to hide the "boo boos"! So, needless to say at future events where the boys are expected to get their pictures taken, I will be dressed accordingly! For me, I am always behind the camera, so any opportunity to be in the picture I take it!
