Breakfast with Santa

Well, since the boys didn't want to sit on Santa's lap Tuesday, we were anticipating a similar sequence of events! They do well waiting in line for him (Drew waits patiently saying "Santa" and acting very interested to meet him, while Blake likes to take a tour of the surroundings). When it was our turn to see Santa, the boys both didn't want to go anywhere near him! Blake got on his knees and put his head of the floor and Drew watched Blake's reaction, then decided he didn't want to meet him either! So...we got a family picture of us with Santa, which turned out pretty good! I was more prepared this time for a picture and my face was healed a bit more than on Tues (thank goodness)! The boys then had a blast running in the gym and playing with all of the activities! Grandpa Bruuuce was in town for Mommy's birthday and got to join in the breakfast and festivities! Drew was into the balls (of course), but once he noticed the blown up snowman and penguin Blake was checking out- there was no turning back (he has a fear of blown up penguins). He couldn't focus on any activity on the side with the penguin, so he spent most of him time coloring and making crafts. Everytime Mr. Busybody (Blake) crossed Drew's path- he'd run and give him a big hug and kiss! So sweet! Maybe someday Drew will be able to explain his fear, as for now we will just have to avoid penguins! We got a pic with Grandpa Bruce and Drew, but not with Blake since he was on the move the entire time!

At home, Blake reads, plays puzzles and colors. Outside of home he loves to explore and give us a great workout chasing him!! Again, that is why he is in the 15% for weight!

After the MOTC (Mothers of Twins Club) Breakfast with Santa event we celebrated my birthday at Dewey's (Drewey's)! They have the best pizza ever!!
