Potty-Training Update...

Drew & Blake have done surprisingly well with this potty-training business! I was soooo dreading this stage, but they are tackling this milestone! We were going to wait until after Christmas (for convenience), but since we are getting a puppy in a week and a half I thought we should try it out and see if they had an interest. I was off the week of Thanksgiving so I thought I would give it a jump start. I put the boys in underware (Cars) and they loved them, they were running around their room pretending to be cars! Blake had a few accidents and told me it was "hot" and then we put on some new undies. Drew kept his dry until the evening when he was on Daddy's watch. The next day we didn't really push the issue since we had some people coming over throughout the morning. They were telling me when to change them, I realized some lightbulbs had gone off! We took a break on Thanksgiving and the day after Thanksgiving Drew told Grandma he needed to go potty. From that moment it was back on in full swing! Since then we are on a roll....as of today Blake had one accident (while he was playing in the basement). They wear either undies during the day and if we are out and about, they wear pull ups (dreading the public bathroom experience)! If we can be potty trained duirng the day by the time this little puppy gets here that would be AWESOME! They are each others cheerleaders. They will chant, "Go, B, Go, B....or Go, Drew...", give high fives, fist pump, and tell the other after they go "Your turn"! It makes my job soooooo much easier! Whew!
