Blake, he managed to find his pillow and some room!
Drew...most of the other toys are covered by the blanket he is lying his head on!
Nap times have been more challenging these days. I think they know they are supposed to be in their rooms for 2-3 hours in the afternoon whether they sleep or not. I think this because Blake has come out of his room on a couple occasions like clockwork to tell me my "Mommy Time" is up! So...while Blake is climibing in and out of his crib as quite as a mouse flilling thier beds with books, toys, clothes from their dresser and whatever else he can find, I am trying to get things in order around here. Drew will sometimes yell, "No, B, No!", my cue to escort him back in his crib, but otherwise I have no clue he is playing in his room. After Blake has flilled their beds, I ask them how they are going to sleep in their beds with all of that stuff?! Well, this is how they answered the other day...
However, today I was not so lucky for them to crash. After the who knows how many times I went in their room, I gave up after 2+ hours and determined they weren't going to sleep. That makes for crabby, irritable toddlers and parents for the evening. Luckily, most days than not they do sleep 2-3 hours, oh how I hope that doesn't change for awhile! I have a list of projects to do during nap time once we move, I won't hold my breath!
