Our Christmas Week in Review!

Heading to Shelbina with their new head rests!

Blake loves to love "Gidgi"

We kicked off our Christmas by going to Shelbina to see my side of the family last Saturday. The boys did great at their first smorgasbord! Blake ate as many vegetables as fast as Grandma Donna could get him and Drew ate as many french fries as he could, double fisted! (another opposite). They did awesome for almost 6 hours in the car and a small 1/2 hour nap each for the entire day! All you do is have to tell them there are presents involved and they seem to cheer up and forget that they were tired! We got home Saturday night to a sick doggy- no fun for anyone!

Then, my dad and Carol came in town on Sunday to spend a few days hanging out with us. My dad and Carol enjoyed babysitting the boys Monday while I worked. I had to leave work early to get the dog his seasonal supply of Flagyl so he would feel better for the holidays! We saw my Uncle Ronnie Monday night for dinner and a visit. Monday we also sold our workout equipment to make room for a playroom. So now the boys have a nice big playroom downstairs!

We celebrated Christmas with my dad and Carol Wednesday night. Thursday we went to breakfast and shopping, then headed home for the boys nap and to get ready for Christmas Eve with the Laramies. The boys were dressed as Santa, they didn't leave their hat on, but they looked adorable in their Santa suits!

Saturday we went to my uncle's house and then to Kyle's uncles house for a grand finale! This year at the Laramie Christmas Santa came to visit! Drew enjoyed singing Christmas songs as we waited for Santa, but didn't want anything to do with Santa once he made his way intot he room! Blake surprisingly loved Santa this time! Two weeks ago he didn't want anything to do with him and this time he kissed him and couldn't wait to sit on his lap!  The boys did great to end our week of Christmas and stayed up until 10:30! We were so happy- usually Drew wants to stay up, but his internal clock tells him to sleep at 8 or 8:30! They fell right to sleep when we got home and woke up at 9:30am the next day for Kyle. I headed to the stores before the sun came up with Aunt Jill & Grandma Debbe!

Some highlights from the week...
Kyle bought the boys a surprise- I found out what it was on Christmas Eve when he gave them to the boys! We were all shocked with Kyle carried in a beautful red Mustang for the boys! They were both sitting in it and making themselves at home when he then carried in a huge Dodge Charger police car!! With a working mega phone, lights and sirens! We are going to need a 4 car garage at the next house!! ha! We can't wait to watch them chase each other and play bumper cars with them next year! Oh my! I got a new camera, so there may be a delay in updates until I figure it all out. We are in transition mode!!

A big thank you for all of the wonderful gifts! We are so thankful for our wonderful family!

The boys new rides!! Daddy's surprise for all of us!!

Blake our little rockstar!
Drew loved to throw the tissue paper in the air over and over! Cheap entertainment!
Drew- this face is priceless!! A picture says 1,000 words!!
One of our handsome Santas!
