We spent a week at the lake for our vacation this year! It was a blast! We stopped in Shelbina to see some fam on the way to the lake. While we were there Grandpa Bruce came up for a few days to hangout. Throughout the week, we swam a lot, ate out at a few new restaurants, ate outside at every meal (it's a much easier clean up), took our 1st boat ride! Everyone was probably thinking are you guys crazy for taking those little babies on here for 90 MINUTES!? But, the boys did great! They even got to be an honorary captain for a few minutes each! They have pics and certificates to remember!
We did lots of shopping and more swimming! Just about everywhere we went they got compliments on how well behaved they are! Also, we were asked just about everywhere we are- "Are they twins" and even an "Are they related"! HELLO- they are in coordinating outfits, matching stroller and matching shoes?? We have several sarcastic things we say as they pass, but we keep those to ourselves! Just in this past week the boys have really become more independent- or they are trying to be. They are really into wanting to dress themselves (helping dress themselves), putting shoes on (and off- which they do better), and Drew now loves to drink from a water bottle by imself. He told me "my ba"! He does a pretty good job and gets about 1/2 in his mouth and the other 1/2 all over himself- it'd be a great outdoor activity!
Anyways, we love the lakehouse and can't wait to go back! When we came home everyone was suffering from Drew & Blake withdrawal, so we celebrated Paw Paw's b-day at our house. The boys modeled some of their new outfits! At one point Drew had on 3 layers and a hooded jacket-he strutted around like a big boy! Blake's new trick is talking like Donald Duck (Daddy taught him)- he crosses his arms & tries to imitate Donald Duck- it's hilarious! I have yet to get that on video- but hope to soon! They are such little characters! Here are some pics from vacation as well as a video of Drew dancing to one of his favorite songs! We've danced to this so much, it seems like since the video he's developed a routine! Not sure where he gets his rhythm, but he's got more than Mommy or Daddy!

Looks and sounds like you all had a great vacation. The boys are getting so big. Don't worry it's not just you all that get goofy questions from strangers. I get people all the time that come up and ask if me how old "he" is referring to Kiera even though she will be in purple and pink with flowers and a bow in her hair. I Can't wait to get get a date corrdinated so we can get the kids together and see how they play now that the little ones aren't so little anymore. Talk to you soon.
