Christmas 2011

The boys were soooooooo excited for Christmas this year! This was the first Christmas they made their list, told everyone and counted down the days! It was the first year we met Our Elf on the Shelf. The boys named him Andy, he always keeps an eye on them!  A couple days after we met Andy, Drew thought it would be better if Andy left. He said, "I want Andy to leave, I don't like Santa." I quickly responded you should like him, because he is the one that might bring you a Batrock (the Batcave). He's been asking for it since August, so it's a great incentive!  He's a perfect student at school, but hey, who wants to be good 24/7! Especially at home!

Andy even got to witness the boys dipping almost an entire roll of toliet paper and then throwing wet TP ALL over the upstairs hall bathroom! (Sidenote, this was a school night and Mommy's birthday). The bathroom was beautified from ceiling to floor with wet TP EVERYWHERE...even hanging from the wall decor! Great scott Batman! They were in big trouble and wouldn't even discuss it to Maw Maw & Paw Paw that night, lol!

I love Christmas time, but I was counting down that last week! Between the excitement school generated in them and the anticipation of Santa, the ol' man could not come soon enough! They were so wound up!! Although, we were still shopping Christmas Eve and wrapping until the end, otherwise he could have come earlier!

They boys had a blast celebrating several Christmas stops and telling everyone "Merry Christmas". Santa stopped by at Kyle's uncle Jim's and instantly Drew said, "That sounds like Paw Paw." Then, after he handed out presents and took some pictures. Blake walked up to Paw Paw after he returned to the room and told him it was him dressed as Santa. He said, "You are Paw Paw Santa." Can't fool them, but they sure didn't ruin it for everyone else! As they were opening their presents Christmas morning Blake asked me, which one was for Jesus.
Drew's Christmas List:
Green motorcycle with a green hi-ya (Power Ranger)
    Bat Rock
2 Blue Dinosaurs (not sure why)
    Doggie Doo Game

Blake's list
Pop the Pig (or as he says "Pock o Pig") Game
    Blue Dinosaur
    Yucky Trash Can
Red motorcycle with a red hi-ya (Red Power Ranger)

Wow...they didn't ask for much, but it was quite interesting hearing them talk about their lists! We thought Drew was going to cry as he opened the Batcave! Their reactions were PRICELESS!!! I took more video than pics Christmas morning!

Drew excited about his stocking stuffers...he's lined them all up!
He had all his presents organized before I could think about it! Way to go "D"!

Opening Toy Story snow boots that light up...hope we get to use these!!

Love their "Elf" jammies...I bought them big enough for next year too-I hope!

Opening their race track from Santa!

There's our pretty girl...Bella Boo! Blake loves to give her treats after she does her commands for him! She listens to him as well as she listens to me!

Oh my! You'd have thought we were asking them to eat their least favorite food to try to get this picture! Here were a few of the silly shots I got, just trying to get 1 good one!
They were so excited they couldn't sit still!

Nice guys, real nice! :)

Okay....I'll take this one! Whew!

Blake with a bow on his face!

Afternoon nap on the couch at Gpa & Mimi's house. I was sleeping next to Kyle, but woke up just in time to get a good pic!

At Uncle Jim's playing with the cool race track!

Blake and their cousin Tyler crashing their cars then falling off and rolling. They did this over, and over and over it was funny to them and all who were watching!
