Lovin' Lake Saint Louis!!

Since moving in our house in September we met the neighbors a few times, but it quickly became winter and spring has been so rainy we feel like we've been hibernating! We finally got to hang out with some of our neighbors a few weeks ago and since then we've been kicking off the nice weather ever since! The friday of Memorial Day weekend we met some of our neighbors at the LSL Community Association for free food, entertainment, sno cones, a bounce house, the fire truck and tons of other festivities...however it started to rain so right around 8:30 we headed home. This past Friday we went to the park across our street (every month they have a movie in the park) to see the last Shrek. The boys had fun playing with their new friends before the movie started. Then it was show time! Both boys sat mesmerized by the movie the whole time, until about 9:30 they stopped the movie due to the lightening and storm moving in (we walked home just in time)! The parents chatted, while the kids were entertained by the movie! We all had a good time! Side note...the boys won the award for best behaved- they sat in their chairs the whole time! Yay boys! Although, they set the bar high for next time we are all together! I bet next time, they will show them how they brawl!!
