Competition...

The boys are naturally competitive with each other. However, lately we've seen a whole new game going on at the Laramie House...it's potty war! The boys don't care much for sweets (they could take them or leave them most of the time), so that idea doesn't work. They could care less about a sticker chart, so that is out. Although, they are VERY motivated by cars, so each time they go on the potty they get a Hot Wheels and if they go #2 they get a "Cars" car! Oh Boy...I had no idea this would be such a hit! Actually, Grandma Debbe started it when Blake went at her house the day after Thanksgiving. Drew asked to go and Blake went and got a "surprise", a car. The war was on!! Since then, the boys have earned too many cars to count, they fight over the "big" potty and get mad when they can't go! Drew wanted to "pinch" it out...I convinced him that that wasn't a good idea! Whoever reads this should invest in "Hot Wheels", I need to replenish my stock ASAP! We are not holding our breath that they will be potty trained by the time we get our puppy, but we are on an awesome role! Blake was fist pumping as he danced out of the bathroom! We will keep you posted! We are planning on wearing big boy underware all week and staying home as much as possible! We shall see how long this excitement lasts!
