Oh, I hope not! We were really hoping for the toddler bed conversion to be a reward for potty training, but we may not be able to wait! Drew is now getting out of his bed- which makes for more challenging naptimes (non-existent this week) and bedtime! Tonight he got out of bed to bang and kick on his door protesting bedtime. I have to remind myself that this was the boy who LOVED bedtime! What the heck!?!? Boy do they love to keep us on our toes! I haven't gotten the pleasure to observe this new trick, but I assume it's similar to Blake's graceful escape. Monkey see monkey do! My argument is that they are able to get out very easily and safely (they are so tall and just pull up and whip their leg over the rail), why put the short rail up to make it more inviting! It wouldn't make naptime or bedtime easier. We shall see.
Sidenote- I am soooo behind in blogging- I'm now dreading trying to catch up! I was looking through my cameras and got overwhelmed. More to come with lots of pictures....someday soon! A blog-a-thon is in my future!
