We're 23 months!!

Not a day goes by without this activity! Wrestling!!

Well, we've reached the point where I can only refer to them in "months" for one more month! Crazy! The 1st year they were in our lives, it felt like a year, but this year! Whoa! It has flown by! I know their 2nd birthday will be here too soon!! They are a very entertaining duo! Drew is in  his "mine, my, no mine!" phase, while Blake says "mine and my" occasionally, but he's so laid back he'll trade or share very easily. Drew is a borderline hoarder! He loves to have both arms full and refuses to put anything down! He often is seen with 2 balls in one arm and in the other he has his brown stuffed dog and green bunny blankie. I can see him looking at his arms doing an inventory, making sure that he hasn't lost any of his goods. One of Blake's favorite things to do is taking something that Drew is holding and running around making Drew chase him (of course chasing him yelling, "mine, no mine!!"). Blake just smiles waiting for me to referee, then he will gladly hand over the toy! Oh boy! They are like a little married couple pushing each others buttons! I tell Blake "Don't push Drew's buttons!". I am sure someday soon Drew will tell Blake that very phrase himself!

Other than irritating and playing with each other, they are also best buds! They love to play with each other. Whatever 1 does the other does. Blake is our little explorer, don't turn your back he just might get away! Blake has a girlfriend who lives across the street, she's almost 5 (we call her a cougar)! She's a cute little girl! A few weeks ago the neighborhood kids were playing outside with the boys, Blake saw Jamieson and couldn't focus on anything else, he just about pushed a 6 year old over to get to her! He gave her a big hug! Last year she drew the boys picutres and taped them to our front door!

Drew is too focused on balls, running and jumping to think about girls! Both boys really don't need any other toys other than balls and legos/ blocks! Drew had a small plastic dog from the Little People that he carried around for weeks! He fed the dog his food, kissed it, slept with it, and took it everywhere! Currently, I think the dog (I named Spot) is behind his crib again, so we will leave it there for awhile!
