We took the boys to a Parents As Teachers event "Spring Fling". Parents as Teachers is a free program offered by the school district. They have several events throughout the year and a teacher comes to our house 4 times a year to show us fun homemade toys and help prepare the boys for kindergarten! It's a great program! This past Weds. we met the Easter Bunny! We weren't quite sure how the boys would react to a giant bunny, but as you can see they were unimpressed. Their favorite activity of the night was the beach balls...Blake's favorite word is "ball"...he would hold up a ball and tell Daddy "Ball, ball, ball". It's so cute! He is 150% boy! The boys also loved to watch all of the activities and practice walking! Side note...Blake took his 1st step last Tues! They are cruising everywhere and standing when they feel brave! We are counting sadly down the days until they can run away from us! I am trying to hold/carry them as much as they let me, since I know this will come to an end soon!

Sounds like the boys had a good time. I don't know if I have ever seen 2 little ones that mellow or unimpressed with the Easter Bunny. I bet our pic with the Easter bunny has tears in it :) We'll find out tomorrow. See you guys sunday.
Keep holding them... you're right about how fast they grow! Congrats on having two emerging walkers though... it is a very cool and exciting, even if bittersweet, time. They are so cute! We can't wait to see you next weekend!
